The Cleveland Browns, the team I rooted for growing and still root for now — the team I have covered in one form or another for over 30 years; the team that was introduced to me by dad whom I loved dearly — played a guy against the Minnesota Vikings in a preseason game at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday in rookie defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. who is accused of assaulting the mother of his child and holding a gun to her head recently. 

I am sick to my stomach over it.

I am to the point of my life where nothing very much surprises me anymore. With that having been said, I was stunned when I heard that Hall was going to play, especially with the fact he suffered a stinger in the opener a week earlier.

The Browns have got this all wrong. They are breaking the hearts of a lot of people, especially those of females who can envision themselves being the one Hall was allegedly threatening with a gun.

Wow!
