What are they saying behind closed doors

We all hear what they saying in public, which is next to nothing.

Really, it is nothing  — absolutely nothing, in fact.

That’s the way it has to be because of the dicey legal situation.

But you have to wonder, really, truly wonder, when it comes to the sexual abuse and sexual assault accusations involving their starting quarterback, at least for now, in Deshaun Watson, what the Browns movers and shakers, such as team owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam, General Manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski, are thinking and also what they’re saying behind closed doors.

That goes for Stefanski’s coaching staff, too.

And the scouts and personnel people.

And the players.

And the support staff?

And the spouses and significant others of all these people.

They have to be, in some cases, just mad, angry and fit to be tied, and in another cases, they must be bewildered, disappointed, disgusted and very unhappy.

They would have to be, as well, sick to their stomach on occasion, and embarrassed and humiliated.

It’s just a big mess, and it will likely grow to be a whole lot worse before it ever starts to get any better.

And oh, by the way, the Browns have a game on Sunday at Jacksonville against the Jaguars. That fact has gotten lost in all the things going on at Brown’s headquarters in Berea.
