They can’t worry about scenarios involving other teams helping them out. They have to help themselves. This is a place that that type of thing should happen. The Browns are 7-1 at home. They haven’t lost in three months. The Jets are a good team, but they are a beatable team.

Every once in a while, the football gods provide you with a season in which the stars all seem to align in just the right way and the window of opportunity, pops open, wide, and clear. The Browns need to take advantage of that this year, and to do that, they need to take advantage of this very important next step on Thursday nightand secure a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

It is all right there in front of them, and now they must go out and grab it.
