QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS AND MORE QUESTIONS

We don’t know a lot about Kevin Stefanski, the new head coach of the Browns.
But we’ll get to know him at least a little better – and hopefully a lot – when his introductory press conference is held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the team headquarters in Berea.

In fact, there have been so many introductory pressers for head coaches for the Browns in the expansion era, especially since Jimmy Haslam bought the team in 2012, that the media people, many of whom were covering the team then, should have this thing – this line of questioning — down pat.
“So, Coach, what are your emotions about becoming a head coach for the first time at any level?”
“What have you done to prepare yourself for this moment?”
“What do you know about the Browns?”
“A lot of the reason for you getting the job is your ability to work so well with quarterbacks. What can you do to get Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield back on track?”
“Does Baker have enough weapons to make this offense productive?”
“How would you describe your offensive philosophy?”
“How far along are you on assembling your coaching staff?”
“Will you be retaining any of the Browns assistants from this past season?”
“Will you hire an offensive coordinator?”
“Will you call your own plays?”
“There have been plenty of coaches coming in and out of here. What is it about you that will make you the coach who wins and gets the Browns turned around for good?”
“With all the change, was there any hesitancy on your part in taking the job, thinking there may be a short leash?”
“What do you about the other teams in the AFC North?”
“This is pretty much a ready-made team, so can you win right away?
“What do you think about analytics and the role it plays in today’s game?”
“And finally, what would you like to say to all the Browns fans?”
