The NFL Draft is over, and the readjusted league power rankings, considering all the new talent that clubs added — or didn’t add — over the weekend, are like specks of sand in the desert.
That is, they’re everywhere.
But if you read Browns Daily Dose regularly — and we hope you do — then you know which set of power rankings I love the best. It is the one put out by SportsIllustrated.com, the best major pro football website there is, as written by Conor Orr, its best writer.
Spoiler alert, the Browns are 18th of the NFL’s 32 teams. Of the AFC North’s other three clubs, the Cincinnati Bengals, not surprisingly, are the division’s highest-rated club at No. 3 overall, behind only the Philadelphia Eagles (first) and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Baltimore Ravens, with newly re-signed quarterback Lamar Jackson, are seventh and the Pittsburgh Steelers stand a few spots behind the Browns at 21st.

Here’s what Orr said about the Browns: “My favorite pick of their truncated draft (seven choices, none in the first two rounds) was Siaki Ika, the nose tackle fgtom
Baylor. The Browns needed more space heaters this offseason, hence paying Dalvin Tomlinson a premium price tag in free agency. Ika might not play right away, but he could round into the kind of quintessential AFC North player the Browns have been craving ovrt the past few years.
