Play the Two Rookies at Quarterback

I saw something the other day that offered the opinion that Bailey Zappe might be a better option at quarterback than rookie Dillon Gabriel because the Browns could have more of a chance to win.

Really?! Are you kidding me?!

The only quarterback I want to see less than Zappe is The Pervert, Deshaun Watson, for obvious reasons. Gabriel still has a chance to be the franchise guy. He likely isn’t going to develop into that role, but he’s in the mix. Zappe is not, and neither is the other guy. Just writing and/or saying his name disgusts me.

This season has long since been over, for all intents and purposes, and with that, then, I don’t care at all about winning. What I’m interested in is looking as much as I can at the quarterbacks, the two rookies, also including Shedeur Sanders. This rebuild doesn’t start until you find the quarterback. It just doesn’t. It can’t. It’s not possible.

So, play the rookie quarterbacks. Zap Zappe from your train of thought.

And speaking of thoughts, here’s one more, actually a question: When is it going to be Sanders’ turn?
