This is not a “Seinfeld” episode, but it is a story about nothing.
Actually, “Seinfeld” was a shOW about a lot of things, most notably making us laugh at ourselve in a third-person way. The Browns are indeed a story about nothing right now — certainly nothing good.
They have no offense to speak of. That is no fun to watch. And it is no way to win football games.

So, despite another tremendous effort by defensive end Myles Garrett and the defense, another no-show by the offense, even with rookie Shedeur Sanders finally getting a chance at quarterback, but only because of a head injury to starter Dillon Gabriel, eventually won out, as it were, and led to a 23–16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night at Huntington Bank Field.

The Browns are now 2–8, with seven games left, in this season that can’t end quickly enough.
When the Browns’ first offensive series ended by a penalty for an illegal formation because of a tackle nor being covered up, you just knew it was going to be another miserably-coached and miserably-played performance.
And it was. It was hard to watch.
Again, this type of thing begs the question of, “What in the world do the Browns do at practice all week? Do the coaches teach anything? Do they have any attention to detail? Do they have any idea of what they’re doing?
Tommy Rees calling plays might as well win PeeWee Reese. He — it — has made no difference at all. And with each game, we continue to wonder why head coach Kevin Stefanski, and General Manager Andrew Berry still have jobs.
What more is there to say? We’ve watched this for way too much over the past six seasons. There have been some good moments, sure, but they have been far outnumbered by the bad moments. And now we are to the embarrassing moments.
Can this just please end?
There is nothing else — nothing more, nothing positive — to say.
And unlike a “Seinfeld” episode, this isn’t funny at all.
