Not So Good News

If, as hoped by all of you, the Browns win the Super Bowl sometime soon, will they be able to have a victory parade and celebration in the typical way?

That all comes into question now for every sports team wanting to have a celebration for a championship after what happened when the Kansas City Chiefs did so last Wednesday. Despite all the security, with an incredibly immense police presence, a few knuckleheads were able to ruin the day for everybody with their deadly antics.

It’s just sad when we can’t even enjoy ourselves anymore, without having to worry about people who obviously have no life and no sense of civility.

And while we’re on negative things to come out of the Super Bowl and it’s aftermath, we have to mention Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce pushing head coach L Andy Reid on the sidelines during the game. Kelce is a good guy. He plays with a lot of passion, and when he’s not playing, he’s a walking advertisement for Cleveland Heights and Northeast Ohio. For that, we thank him.

But at the same time, players can’t be shoving 60-something coaches around because the game is not going how they want it to. It was a terrible display for all those young kids who look up to him and try to emulate his actions. That is definitely not something they want to copy.

It’s a good time for the start of the offseason, where everybody can kind of step back, chill out and gather their thoughts and do all the cool things that an NFL off-season brings.
