Hiring of Vrabel a Good Move

You can never have enough smart people in any organization,  including those in sports and especially the NFL.

And when it also comes with experience and toughness, it just makes it that much more special, and valuable.

And so it is with the Browns’
hiring of Mike Vrabel as a consultant. The former standout at Walsh Jesuit high school in Cuyahoga Falls, and Ohio State was fired as head coach of the Tennessee Titans after the season ended. He could be a tremendous asset to the Browns.

The Browns need to get tougher, and that includes the defense, which has extended periods of greatness, but isn’t consistently great. There are too many breakdowns, particularly on the road. Vrabel really knows defense, and he understands power football, running the football as well, And after all those years in NFL, including the time with the New England Patriots, both as a player and an assistant coach, he knows when it takes not just to win, but to win big, the Super Bowl.

There are no negatives at all to this move. The Browns are to be commended for making it.
