It’s hard not to knock this silly decision
By Steve King
This isn’t hard.
It’s hard at all.
It’s easy.

The Browns on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” in several months? That’s a bad idea – really, really bad idea – and it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.
It’s hard to believe the Browns would be that goofy – that stupid and short-sighted and illogical to agree to do it.
After finishing 0-16 last year and a combined 1-31 the last two seasons, the Browns have light years to go. Is there a phrase that mean’s more than “light years?” If you hear of one, please let me know. I‘ll try to use it the next time.
In any event, with so much work to do – with so much of this monumental rebuilding effort still left to complete, obviously – the Browns have no time – absolutely no time – and no business – absolutely no business – spending one, single solitary second on this “Hard Knocks” project, obviously. It’s an incredible distraction. Actually, it’s more than just a distraction. It’s the 800-pound elephant in the room – literally and figuratively – that no one can ignore. It’s what everybody is focused on and watching.
With all the storylines out there, “Hard Knocks” will be the storyline on the Browns, and that’s not the way it should be.
The Browns should be focused on getting better.
The Browns should be focused on getting their quarterback situation figured out.
The Browns should be focused on finding a way to score more points – or any points.
The Browns should be focused on learning how to get touchdowns, instead of having to settle for field goals, when they do score.
The Browns should be focused on improving defensively.
The Browns should be focused on doing better – much, much, much better – in their gameday management.
But instead, they’re going to be focused on the “Hard Knocks” cameras and microphones, which will be everywhere all the time.
Why didn’t they just invite Stormy Daniels to attend training camp every day? That would have made as much sense as this.
