Cleveland Browns FANMAT on Amazon
General Manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski paired together by Browns owner Jimmy Haslam in 2020 to, obviously, win — regular-season games, postseason games and championships.
So, how have they done?
Not very good at all.
You might say abysmally, and if you did, then you’d be correct.
The Browns have been 40-46 (.465) in the regular season and 42-48 (.461) overall, including three playoff games.
Here’s how it shakes out:
2020 — 11-5, third place in the AFC North, made the playoffs as a wild card, beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 48-37 in the wild-card round and lost 22-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round to finish 12-6 overall.
2021 — 8-9, third place in the division, no playoff berth.
2022 — 7-10, fourth (last) place in the division, no playoff berth.
2023 — 11-6, second place in the division, made the playoffs as a wild card, lost 45-14 to the Houston Texans in the divisional round to finish 12-6 overall.
2024 — 3-14, fourth (last) place in the division, no playoff berth.
2025 — 0-2, fourth (last) place in the division.
Ugh.
Now we are in the worst of the worst.
Double-ugh!
We’ll explain why in our next post.
