Do You Still Think an Indoor Stadium is a Bad Idea?

The Browns continue to get criticism from some corners for their plans to build an indoor stadium in Brook Park, near Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

OK.

So, then, here’s a hypothetical question: Let’s say the Browns this season had made it to the doorstep of their first Super Bowl berth and were, in fact, hosting the AFC Championship Game at Huntington Bank Field last Sunday. Then Mother Nature arrives and dumps all that snow. The Browns, despite being the favorite, can’t handle the conditions and, in essence, end up losing because of it. How would you feel today?

Pretty bummed out, right?

That’s how the people in Denver feel right now.

Championships should not be decided in a blizzard but rather in ideal conditions so that the better team wins. That’s why the NFL plays the Super Bowl where it does.

The political entities in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County fight with each other on everything, which is why hardly anything gets done, whereas in Columbus and Franklin County, those politicians find a way to get along for the betterment of that community.

You can scream at Browns owner Jimmy Haslam for a lot of things and I’m not going to stop you, but don’t scream at him gor building an indoor stadium. Instead, rejoice in the fact that he is doing it and creatingsomething that will benefit the community for decades to come.
