So, you think the circus show is over now that the punishment has been handed down to Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson?
No way. Not in the least. Not at all, really. In fact, the show, as they say, must go on. And it will, for a long, long time.
Have you listened to talk radio since the verdict was handed down Thursday morning? You would think it’s the only story out there. Now, though, instead of all the talking heads – and the listeners who are calling in – giving their “two cents” on what the punishment will be and/or should be, they are weighing on what it is (11 games and a $5 million fine) and/or what it should have been.
On and on and on it goes.
And on and on and on it will go, for a long, long, long time.
Indeed, this story is so big, so monumental and so historic that it isn’t going away anytime soon. It will linger.
How will the Browns do without Watson?
What will they do when he returns?
How would they have done had Watson been there all season?
And that’s just the main questions, and topics. There are so many more.
It’s all Deshaun Watson, all of the time, and this circus show is just heating up. So you better get used to it.
