Conflicted about Kareem Hunt signing with the Browns

By STEVE KING

You come here for strong opinions because I always have them.

Agree with them or not, I give them to you.

Now comes the Browns’ signing of running back Kareem Hunt, and I’m waffling, conflicted.

I’m very strong first one way, and then very strong the other way, but it’s still waffling. I’m still conflicted.

I’m thrilled to death that the Browns brought in a guy with that kind of talent, but I’m sad beyond belief that they brought in a guy with that kind of criminally abusive background.

I’m optimistic about what he could bring to the offense, but I’m pessimistic about what he might bring to the locker room.

I think it’s cool that the signing was the top story everywhere – locally and nationally – on Monday, but I think it’s ugly that the signing was the top story everywhere – locally and nationally – on Monday.

I love the fact that Browns General Manager John Dorsey has no qualms about pushing the envelope, but I hate the fact that Browns General Manager John Dorsey has no qualms about pushing the envelope.

I’m excited to think about what the Browns will look like with Hunt, but I’m downcast to think about what the Browns will look like with Hunt.

I can’t wait to see what Browns fans think of the signing, but I’m afraid to look to see what Browns fans think of the signing.

I’m glad that the Browns lured Hunt here because there were a number of other teams interested in signing him, but I’m upset that the Browns lured Hunt here because there were a number of other teams interested in signing him.

I can’t help to think about how the signing may skyrocket the Browns’ fortunes going forward, but I can’t help to think about the signing may sabotage the Browns’ fortunes going forward.

I just don’t know – one way or the other.
