Sports Illustrated breaks it down, and Browns fans are ready for answers as training camp looms.
If you’ve read Browns Daily Dose for any length of time, then you know how much I like SI.com.
It is, in my opinion, without a doubt the best football website for both the pro and college games. When I read something there, I wholeheartedly trust the validity of it.
As such, then, I was very interested to read the current story by SI.com’s Gilberto Marzano on the Browns. They the first team he’s profiling in his series, “32 Teams in 32 Days,” a look at the NFL heading into training camp a little less than two months now.
Under the category, “What’s at stake this season,” Manzano writes, “Finding a franchise quarterback.”
In the next category, “Biggest question headed into training cali, he listed, “Who will win the starting quarterback job?”
Yes! Hallelujah! Woohoo! Hooray! Bingo!
As Manzano so correctly points out, the Browns, of course, have other issues, but figuring out the quarterback is, by far, and it isn’t even close, the most critical issue they have. Indeed, for until the Browns find the guy at the most important position in team sports, the rebuild of the club doesn’t really start.
