The Browns have released their unofficial Week 4 depth chart for Thursday night’s game at Huntington Bank Field, and there are several things worth watching — particularly along the offensive line and in the secondary.
Here is the latest Browns depth chart heading into the Steelers game.
Browns Week 4 Depth Chart
Offense
Quarterback
- Deshaun Watson
- Shedeur Sanders
- Taylen Green
Watson remains listed as Cleveland’s starting quarterback heading into Thursday night’s matchup.
Running Back
- Quinshon Judkins
- Raheim Sanders
- Michael Burton (FB)
- Jaleel McLaughlin
Judkins remains atop the running back depth chart, with Sanders listed behind him.
Wide Receiver
WR: Jerry Jeudy / Tylan Wallace
WR: Denzel Boston / Malachi Corley
Slot WR: KC Concepcion Jr. / Isaiah Bond
The Browns continue to feature a young group of receivers around Jeudy, with rookies Boston and Concepcion Jr. listed as starters.
Tight End
- Harold Fannin Jr.
- Blake Whiteheart
- Carsen Ryan
Fannin remains the top tight end on the depth chart after scoring two touchdowns in Cleveland’s Week 3 win over Carolina.
Offensive Line
Left Tackle: Spencer Fano / Dawand Jones
Left Guard: Zion Johnson / Zak Zinter
Center: Elgton Jenkins / Luke Wypler / Parker Brailsford
Right Guard: Teven Jenkins / Austin Barber
Right Tackle: Tytus Howard
The offensive line is one of the biggest storylines heading into Thursday night.
Elgton Jenkins is listed as the starting center but is dealing with a concussion and was a non-participant in Cleveland’s first two estimated practices of the week.

Teven Jenkins is listed as the starting right guard but has also been dealing with an injury.
The Browns will be facing a Pittsburgh pass rush led by T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. Watt has 3.5 sacks through three games, while Highsmith has three.
Browns Week 4 Defensive Depth Chart
Defensive Line
Left Defensive End: Jared Verse / Sam Williams
Left Defensive Tackle: Maliek Collins / Mike Hall Jr.
Right Defensive Tackle: Mason Graham / Adin Huntington
Right Defensive End: Isaiah McGuire / Derek Barnett
The Browns will need this group to control the line of scrimmage against Pittsburgh’s rushing attack and create pressure on the Steelers’ passing game.
Rookie Mason Graham is coming off a strong Week 3 performance against Carolina, while Isaiah McGuire recorded a key sack in the fourth quarter of that victory.
Linebackers
Linebacker: Carson Schwesinger
Linebacker: Quincy Williams / Justin Jefferson
Linebacker: Easton Mascarenas-Arnold / Winston Reid
Schwesinger remains atop one linebacker spot, with Quincy Williams and Easton Mascarenas-Arnold also listed among the starters.
Cornerback
Cornerback: Tyson Campbell / Myles Harden / Noah Igbinoghene
Cornerback: Denzel Ward / Mekhi Blackmon / Toriano Pride Jr.
Tyson Campbell’s status is particularly important heading into Thursday night. He has been dealing with a knee injury and was limited in Cleveland’s first two estimated practices of the week.
Safety
Safety: Grant Delpit / Emmanuel McNeil-Warren / Daniel Thomas
Safety: Ronnie Hickman / Donovan McMillon
Grant Delpit is another starter whose availability bears watching after he was limited with a shoulder injury earlier in the week.
Browns Special Teams Depth Chart
Punter: Corey Bojorquez
Kicker: Andre Szmyt
Holder: Corey Bojorquez
Kick Returner: Malachi Corley / Raheim Sanders
Punt Returner: KC Concepcion Jr. / Denzel Boston
Long Snapper: Rex Sunahara
The Browns’ official depth chart lists rookies KC Concepcion Jr. and Denzel Boston as the top two punt-return options.
Five Things to Watch on the Browns Depth Chart
1. Who starts at center?
This could be one of the biggest lineup questions Thursday night.
Elgton Jenkins is officially listed first on the depth chart, but his concussion situation makes his availability something to monitor closely.
Luke Wypler is listed behind him.
That could be an important development against Pittsburgh’s defensive front.
2. Can Tytus Howard handle T.J. Watt?
Howard is listed as Cleveland’s starting right tackle.
That could put him in position to see plenty of Watt, who has already recorded 3.5 sacks this season.
The Browns’ offensive line knows it has a major challenge in front of it.
3. Tyson Campbell’s availability
Campbell is listed as the starting cornerback opposite Denzel Ward.
If Campbell is available, Cleveland would have another experienced option in its secondary for a difficult divisional matchup.
4. The young receivers
Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion Jr. are both listed as starters.
That’s significant for a Browns offense that has several young playmakers who could play important roles Thursday night.
5. Mason Graham’s continued development
The rookie defensive tackle is already making an impact.
After his strong performance against Carolina, Graham now gets his first taste of a Browns-Steelers divisional matchup.
His ability to create pressure from the interior could be important against Pittsburgh.
Steelers Make Changes to Their Offensive Line
Pittsburgh also enters Thursday night’s game with some changes to its depth chart.
The Steelers have moved Brock Hoffman into the starting right guard position and Max Iheanachor into the starting right tackle position.
Spencer Anderson and Dylan Cook are listed behind them.
The changes follow strong performances from Hoffman and Iheanachor in Pittsburgh’s Week 3 victory over Cincinnati.
That creates an interesting matchup against Cleveland’s defensive front.
Browns vs. Steelers Depth Chart: The Bottom Line
The Browns’ Week 4 depth chart provides a snapshot of how Cleveland currently plans to line up against Pittsburgh, but it is important to remember that it is unofficial.
Injuries could still change the actual starting lineup before Thursday night’s kickoff.
The biggest areas to watch are the center position, right guard, cornerback and safety, with Elgton Jenkins, Teven Jenkins, Tyson Campbell and Grant Delpit all dealing with injuries entering the short week.
The Browns also face one of their toughest defensive challenges of the season against a Steelers pass rush featuring Watt and Highsmith.
With Cleveland and Pittsburgh both sitting at 2-1, the Week 4 matchup has major early-season AFC North implications.
Browns vs. Steelers kicks off Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET at Huntington Bank Field.
And the depth chart could look a little different by the time the teams take the field.
