Browns should copy the Guardians

I wish the Browns would conduct their business more like the Guardians.

I really, truly do.

And I have felt that way for a while now.

I never thought I’d say that. In fact, I never thought I’d even think it.

For years and years and years, the team formerly known as the Indians were a real mess. They had no money and no understanding of how to build, and act like, a winner. Meanwhile, the Browns were the professionals on and off the field. People in football, and even some other sports, watched what the Browns did and said and tried to copy them. They knew what they were doing and as such were excellent role models.

And now the Guardians are the ones leading the way and the Browns appear to be dysfunctional, what with their attaching themselves to quarterback Deshaun Watson and then having it drag them through the mud.

What I hope is that the Browns go back to being the Browns, and the Guardians keep doing what they’re doing. Actually, I’d like for the Browns to emulate the Guardians.
