Browns lose 38-15

Embarrassing.

Humiliating.

Frustrating.

Disappointing.

Sickening.

Whatever word you choose to use to describe the Browns’ 38-15 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium, it is, more than anything, completely unacceptable.

To lose at home to a below-average team by three touchdowns and a field goal is unacceptable.

To allow quarterback Frank Zappa or Bailey Zeppe or whatever his name is to throw for over 300 yards and two TDs is unacceptable.

To be unable to stop the run of a poor rushing attack is unacceptable.

To continue to have Joe Woods as defensive coordinator is unacceptable.

To continue to have to use a career-long game manager at quarterback because the guy for whom you traded three first-round NFL Draft picks, is unavailable because he can’t act a grown man, is unacceptable.

To continue to not use to the fullest the best set of running backs in the league in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt is unacceptable.

And to fail to see any possibility of any of this changing anytime soon is, well … unacceptable.
