Browns Lose

It is the worst call in Browns history since Red Right 88 — there’s no defending it at all
— and if it ends up sinking the Browns season, sinking the coaching career of Kevin Stefanski and sinking the chances for this group of Browns to ever be successful, I won’t be the least bit surprised.

As Jack Buck so famously said,  “I don’t believe what I just saw.”

It left me speechless, and I am still that. There is so much to say about it, but maybe not tonight when the wound is still so fresh.

I just hope that Stefanski doesn’t lose the locker room, but again, I would be the least bit surprised if he did. Those players worked so hard to put themselves into the position to win the game on Sunday at Seattle, and if he had called for a run on that third-down play just before the two-minute warning, then the Browns likely would’ve had a victory to put them at 5-2 heading back home to host the struggling Arizona Cardinals next Sunday. That it didn’t happen is inexcusable. It really, truly is, and it’s not a debatable point.
