If the NFL Draft order stays as it is now, then the Browns will have the No. 3 overall pick in 2025.
It is expected that the Browns would use that choice, or whatever choice they have at the top of the first round, to take a much–needed quarterback.
What everyone is asking is if, based on the way the Browns have messed up the quarterback position with their assessments to this point over the last five years, can we expect them to make a good choice?
Absolutely, that’s indeed a major concern.
But I’m going to take it one step further and say that looking back at all the drafts, from top to bottom, since Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski have worked together, can we expect them to correctly evaluate players at any position, not just quarterback?
What is even more perplexing is in realizing all this, why owner Jimmy Haslam put up with it. This is not just bad, but rather it is horrible.
And it is exactly why the Browns are where they’re at right now.
