TROUBLING NEWS FOR THE BROWNS

The Browns’ road to victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium in the regular-season opener, which was already quite difficult, just got even more so with the news that Cleveland cornerback Denzel Eard is in concussion protocol and thus may end up missing the game.

Ward is the Browns’ best corner and cover guy, and with the talent the Bengals have at wide receiver, plus the fact the quarterback throwing to them is some guy named Joe Burrow, Cleveland is scrambling to try to fill the holes.

What can the Browns do?

They can do the same thing they did 31 years ago.
