That was embarrassing.

Pathetic.

Ridiculous.

Humiliating.

Disgusting.

Disgraceful.

Completely unacceptable.

And I’m being positive. Trust me on that.

Indeed, the Browns’ 17-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Saturday at FirstEnergy Stadium was a whole lot worse than that.

PostGame Notes

The Saints are a bad, poorly-coached team with a has-been quarterback in Andy Dalton playing in a bad division, the NFC South.

They are from the Deep South and play their home games in a dome.

And the Browns, supposedly this tough-minded team from a Northern climate that plays in a power division, the AFC North, let this bunch come into their stadium on a brutally-cold day and bully them. The Browns played like they were cold. They played like weaklings, especially their $230 million-dollar man, Deshaun Watson.

Wahhhh!

The Browns couldn’t stop the run.

They couldn’t run when they had to.

They blew a 10-0 lead late in the second quarter.

What a great job of leaving a good taste in the fans’ mouths heading into the offseason with a solid performance in the home finale.

Yikes!

The positives?

That the Browns are one game closer to getting this miserable season over with.
