You can’t make his stuff up.
You really, truly can’t.
I’m talking about this great run by the Guardians, including — and highlighted by, because of the timing of it in terms of the postseason — Wednesday’s improbable 6-1 win over the Detroit Tigers in Game 2 of the American League Wild-Card Playoffs at Progressive Field.

The deciding Game 3 will be Thursday.
Yes, there may be more — possibly much more, in fact — before this magical run ends, if it ever does.
Incredibly exciting, fun, pulsating, to the nth degree.
Indeed, this is like Chuck E Cheese for adults, getting to roll around in the balls to your heart’s content, belly-laughing all the while to the point of tears.
Some of those tears are certainly wrought because of joy.
While others, like some of which I had as I sat in my car in the parking lot of a convenience store for more than a half-hour listening to the rally for the victory, were of emotion, with real tears.
Yup, that was me as all kinds of people gave me the side-eye as they ran in and then out back out with their Slurpees and Big Gulps. As you get old . . . er, older, you are given by God the gift of being able to see things in a pragmatic sense for what they’re truly worth.
OK, but this is a Browns website and you’re wondering why you haven’t read a word yet about them yet.
Ah, yes, you’re right. You will now, though,
Fans may think there has never been anything like this in Cleveland sports history And if you did, then you’re dead wrong.
This is the baseball version of that wonderful, memorable Kardiac Kids Browns season of 45 years ago, in 1980. All but two of their 17 games — including against the Oakland Raiders in the AFC Divisional Playoffs — were not decided until the final two minutes. It was pure theater. No deficit was too great for the Kids to overcome, nor was any lead too big for them to squander.
You had to see it to believe it, and even then, you thought it was some kind of dream.
And now we’re seeing it all again.
Lucky us. We’re blessed.
