No game today.
The Browns don’t play.
So, just like the team, the fans get a day off.
That’s a good thing, because everybody needs a day off every so often. All work and no play – you, not the Browns – is a recipe for disaster.
And anyway, Sunday was always supposed to be a day of rest.
So forget all the negative stuff of this season so far – to be sure, enough stuff to fill the Terminal Tower, and perhaps the old Rubber Bowl in Akron and what used to be known as Fawcett Stadium in Canton, or what’s left of it as it’s being rebuilt as part of construction of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s expansive, and expensive, campus area.
We’ll get back to all of that on Monday.
“Aw, do we have to?” you might ask.
Yes, we must. We have to keep pointing out the problems and holding this organization’s feet to the fire to correct them.
And another thing …. uh, wait, it’s Sunday, and we just decided we’re not getting into that today.
So go out and have fun.
See ya tomorrow.
