A loss that cuts both ways

It’s hard to tell what is worse, the Browns’ 21–15 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field, or the aftermath.

Perhaps it’s a tie, because they are both horrible.

The Browns lost to one of the worst teams in the NFL in the Giants. So what does that make the now 1-2 Browns?

The Browns lost because they have a quarterback who can’t play.

The Browns lost because they have an offensive line that can’t block when they are healthy. Now, they’re not even healthy.

The Browns lost because they have no rhyme or reason to their offense. It has the flow of stagnant water.

The Browns lost because their defense isn’t nearly as good as advertised.

The Browns lost because they are the most undisciplined team in the league. Penalties is their middle name.

Because quarterback Deshaun Watson is never going to get benched, and their offensive line, which wasn’t very good to start with, is now even worse because of the injuries, things could get worse, even a whole lot worse, before they get any better.
