It all fits together nicely, at least numerically.

In honor of our country celebrating its 250th birthday on Saturday, the Fourth of July, we are taking 250 things about the Browns and breaking them down into five sets of 50 to run in the five-day period from Tuesday through Saturday.

What kinds of “things?,” you might ask.

All kinds of things, really.

Players. Coaches. Games. Seasons. Moments. Thoughts. Opinions. Theories. Personal aspects. 

Just about anything. You name it, I may list it somewhere among these 250 items.

There will be no rhyme or reason to it. It will not be divided into any categories. Item No. 177 may be just as important, significant and noteworthy as No. 55, or even moreso.

It will be a hodge-podge, which is exactly what it was meant to be.You can just jump into the middle of any of a day’s list, not knowing what lies ahead of it, or behind it, and fully understand that particular item.

Again, it will start Tuesday with the first 50 items and will continue with 50 items each of the next four days culminating on Saturday.

What are we calling this series? Very simply, “250 for 250, Browns Style.”
