10 wins next year?

With their team coming off a 7-10 season, after having finished 8-9 the previous year, Browns fans need some good news.

And they got it in a story on Sports Illustrated by staffer Conor Orr entitled, “2023 NFL Season: SI’s One Prediction for All 32 Teams.”

In it, he sees a little healthier total of victories for the Browns next fall.

“They will win 10 games,” he predicts in the headline.

Orr explains, “It feels like their schedule is too generous for them not to come close. The Browns have dates set with future bottom-dwellers such as the Broncos, Texans and Colts. Though their division will be better, this is why they went out to get Deshaun Watson in the first place, right?”

Here are just Orr’s headlines, without any elaboration, for the Browns’ three AFC North rivals (not surprisingly, they all focus on quarterbacks as well):

Cincinnati Bengals — “They will be pleasantly surprised by the Joe Burrow contract negotiations.”

Baltimore Ravens — “They won’t reach a long-term contract agreement with Lamar Jackson.”

Pittsburgh Steelers — “Kenny Pickett will make the Pro Bowl.”

So, what do you think?
