Ryan Grigson rejoins Browns
By STEVE KING
Like Andrew Berry, his friend and former associate with the Indianapolis Colts, Ryan Grigson has rejoined the Browns.
And in the case of both men, I think it’s a good thing – a very good thing — for the team.

Reportedly, he will work-full for the Browns following the NFL Draft.
Grigson is a good football man who embraces analytics. I was upset when former GM John Dorsey fired him. I thought it was silly and selfish, done simply because Dorsey didn’t know much about Grigson and didn’t care to put the effort in to find out. Grigson is a former Colts GM – he did a good job with them – and as a result he could have helped Dorsey and the Browns.
Oh, well. That’s in the past. The guess here is that he will help Berry and the Colts this time around.
Not just the Browns – but any team in any sport at any level – need all the intelligent people they can get. New ideas – different ideas – and healthy debate are always welcome.
The Browns finally stepped into the modern era and figured out that they need all their football people to be aligned – on the same page. But aligned doesn’t mean serving as a “yes” man. It means having a discussion and coming to a conclusion that works best for the team – not individuals, per se, but the team.
With Grigson, the Browns can now do that more fully.
As such, then, it’s time to quit having press conferences and sending out press releases. It’s time for all these guys rolling up their sleeves and working to get the Browns to where they want to go.
